Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
How does the school know if children need extra help?
We monitor the progress and development of all children very closely and regularly. Children who are not making expected progress are picked up through half-termly Pupil Progress Review Meetings. In this meeting, a discussion takes place concerning children who are experiencing difficulty and what further support can be given to aid their progression. Following this meeting, if a child is provided with extra support, parents will be informed.
